Goodbye November

Blue remembered hills
Into my heart an air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those? That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.
Take me away to this peaceful place. A remote land with peaceful waters. No one can see or hear me, and yet I am quiet.
And if I could, I would lose myself in the lush forest and rest there without a sound, filling my lungs with your fragrant mist.
Water my soul, O green cascades and let my deepest reflections be made clear.
